Tissue Tapes
Lynx Specialty Tapes offers double-coated products with tissue carriers with both rubber-based and acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive systems. Tissue carriers have the added advantage of being conformable to irregular surfaces.
| LX-109: | A tissue double-coated with a high shear strength rubber-based system. Bonds well to low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene, polythylene, and polystyrene. Peel adhesion: 115 oz./inch Shear adhesion: 50+ hours Service Temperature Range: -40 degrees F to +160 degrees F. |
| LX-139: | A tissue double-coated with a temperature resistant acrylic adhesive system. Product features moderate tack and peel adhesion with excellent high temperature holding power. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LOW SURFACE ENERGY PLASTICS SUCH AS POLYPROPYLENE, POLYETHYLENE AND POLYSTYRENE. Peel adhesion: 80 oz./inch Shear adhesion: 500+ hours |
| LX-171: | A tissue double-coated with a permanent acrylic adhesive system. Appropriate for light duty bonding applications, such as nameplates to trophies and plaques. Good combination of peel, tack and shear properties. Features "gold” colored release liner. Peel adhesion: 70 oz./inch Shear adhesion: 168+ hours |
