Acrylic/Rubber Tapes

Lynx Specialty Tapes offers products which feature an acrylic laminating adhesive one side and a general-purpose rubber-based bonding adhesive on the liner side.

LX-179: A double-coated polyester, which features an acrylic-laminating adhesive for bonding to polyurethane ester and ether foams and a liner side rubber-based adhesive for bonding to low surface energy substrates such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and polystyrene.

LX-189: Higher Peel Adhesion Version of LX-179:
A double-coated polyester, which features an acrylic-laminating adhesive for bonding to polyurethane ester and ether foams and a liner side rubber-based adhesive for bonding to low surface energy substrates such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and polystyrene.

LX-265: A double-coated polyester designed for high performance applications. The laminating acrylic bonds well to both polyurethane ester and ether foams as well as to mildly plasticized materials. The liner side rubber-based adhesive bonds well to both high and low surface energy plastics. It also exhibits excellent shear resistance.
